REPLAY: Intersections between Human Rights and Climate Justice

Published: November 18, 2022

Organised by The PILS Project to celebrate UK Pro Bono Week 2022, this webinar looked at the developing area of rights-based climate litigation.

Pro bono lawyers have a vital role to play in climate justice cases, particularly where those cases impact marginalised communities whose access to justice is impaired or restricted.

PILS were joined on 8 November 2022 by a panel of speakers to discuss the different ways in which human rights intersect with climate justice – and how pro bono lawyers in Northern Ireland can make a difference!

Speakers:

  • Laura Neal, Friends of the Earth NI;
  • Paul Clark, Garden Court Chambers;
  • Sinéad Magner, WEDO;
  • Hilary Perry and Kate Barry (facilitators), The PILS Project
